Wind Check
|
WindCheck
The WindCheck system provides a highly
accurate anemometer and wind vane system that is designed to operate
with either a PC or MAC laptop. This system provides comprehensive,
accurate wind speed & direction data at an affordable price.
The data log facility is a fully
editable "Excel.csv" file that enables you to record all score scores
alongside the time of landing.
The data stored includes the current
speed, the max and min during the previous
storage interval, the wind direction, and
the average wind speed over the interval
selected.
It is stored in ASCII format such that it
can be read by virtually any graphing
software. Stopping and starting the program
APPENDS the new data and does NOT overwrite
existing data. |
LIVE DISPLAY
The live display provides a real-time
readout of the following information:
- Current
wind speed
- Maximum wind speed since last
reset, as well as the time stamp when
the max was recorded.
- Average wind speed since the
last Reset. The date and time of the
last reset is also shown.
- Minimum wind speed since last
reset, as well as the time stamp when
the min was recorded.
The live display also
includes the following controls:

Vantage Pro2 Weather Station
 |
|
The Vantage Pro2 offers wind speed and direction monitoring, temperature,
barometric air pressure and humidity, hi-low records, on-screen
graphing, and much more.
This advanced wireless weather station is the ideal system to remotely
collect data at a safe distance of upto 300m away from the landing area.
It uses frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit
weather data wirelessly to its receiver up to 300m away and the
integrated sensor suite combines the rain collector, temperature and
humidity sensors, and anemometer into one package-making setup easier
than ever and improving performance and reliability.
Our system includes the Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor
suite, data logger, USB connection and mounting hardware. The integrated
sensor suite includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors,
wind speed anemometer, wind direction monitor and solar panel.
Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter.
The sensor suite is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a
weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included
AC-power adapter or with three C batteries included.
The Vantage Pro2 system uses a sophisticated data logger to provide the
interface between the Vantage Pro2 console and your PC/Laptop, the
"Weather Link" software gives a technologically superb information
output to complement both competition and training.

Our 7M mast allows the
anemometer
to record accurate and reliable measurements
because the is out of the ground turbulence zone. Measuring the wind conditions
at 7M a.g.l. gives accurate information about wind conditions
affecting the competitor while on final approach and over the tuffet.
The 7M mast with it's precision accuracy Wind Sock gives an
accurate reading when ground winds are more than 2m/s.
When the ground wind speeds are below 2m/sec our Wind Streamer gives a true indication of wind direction.
Our mast system is designed to be
easy to assemble and simple to use.
Practical and cost effective systems built by Texair that meet F.A.I.
specifications, easy to view from the air and the target area, our wind indicators give an
accurate and reliable wind direction at all times.
By
using only the most reliable fabric and materials available and the highest quality stainless steel for
all our windsock connections, our products are
resistant
to UV and wind damage,
they wont break, distort or fail in any way.
We
pay attention to details so that you get the best quality and most cost
effective equipment available.
